Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/ Bacon

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds Brussels sprouts – washed, dried, trimmed & cut in half
  • 2-3 tablespoons melted ghee, butter, or bacon grease
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Coarse Himalayan sea salt and pepper
  • 4 bacon slices, diced
  • balsamic vinegar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.  Toss the brussel sprouts with the melted fat, garlic powder, salt & pepper.
  2. Create an even layer on a foil-lined baking sheet and add the chopped bacon.
  3. Roast for about 25 minutes and then flip them & roast for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Season as desired and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
