BBQ Pulled Pork

BBQ Pulled Pork

Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • Boneless Pork Shoulder (4 lbs -ish)
  • 1 large onion
  • Keto Friendly BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black or white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne – if you like the heat! (optional)

Directions:

  1. Score the skin of the pork by making crosswise cuts about a quarter inch deep.
  2. Premix the spices and rub them into the pork!
  3.  Place to pork in the slow cooker on low on top of the onions.
  4. Pour 1 c of Keto Friendly BBQ sauce over the pork.
  5. Put the lid on and let it go for 10 hours on low.
  6. Once the pork is fall apart tender, using forks, gently shred the meat.
  7. Serve as is with extra Keto Friendly BBQ sauce.
  8. If you like crispy pork, line a baking sheet with foil and make an even layer of shredded pork.
  9. Bake at 375 F for about 15-20 minutes, or until the ends begin to crisp up to your liking.
  10. Enjoy !! (Makes for incredible leftovers too, so don’t worry if you have extra!)
